Hello! I'm Kenny.

Hi there! I'm Kendrick Boots, an industrial designer rooted in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA. Since graduating from SCAD Atlanta in June of 2023, I've been on a mission to craft designs that seamlessly blend creativity with functionality. My passion lies in developing solutions that not only look great on paper but also translate effortlessly into the real world. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to practicality, I strive to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also easily manufacturable. From tackling modern challenges to envisioning innovative products, I'm driven by the belief that design should not only inspire but also make a tangible difference in people's lives. Let's collaborate and bring your ideas to life!

I love building custom designs that break the mold in more ways than one. My personal project is a 1994 Nissan 240sx with a Mercedes M113 AMG V8 motor swap. Building this car from the ground up and completing this swap was indeed a massive challenge, but my biggest goal was to build a 240sx that was unlike any other, and yet totally capable of competing with the best of them in both performance and style.

My Story

From as early as I can remember, I always wanted to go fast. I had hundreds of toy matchbox cars as a child and loved to collect them all, trying to get the craziest weirdest ones to show my friends and enjoy for myself. I started cycling at 11 years old and got into racing very quickly. I worked my way up, eventually winning 3 national championships in the road race, time trial, and team pursuit in the velodrome. After moving to Georgia and enrolling at SCAD Atlanta, I was still racing collegiate road and mountain bike, but began to transition to focus mainly on Industrial design and car modification. It was during this time that I really gained a new appreciation for design and the applications possible with my new skill-sets. I began working freelance design while in school, and building my own projects. I realized quickly how fascinated i was with the integration of design and engineering, and realized how crucial it is to understand both as a designer. I built many custom projects during my time at SCAD, but the two I am most proud of are my Mercedes Benz AMG M113 V8 swapped Nissan 240sx, and my fully custom "Dinoco" scooter with a 212cc Engine swap.
